Greenleaf History


Dr. Marcia Trook, Ed.D., founded Greenleaf Associates in 1987 as a market research firm that customized qualitative and quantitative techniques for direct marketing companies.

The firm quickly expanded both industry focus and capabilities in response to a growing roster of clients interested in working with us. Twenty five years hence, Greenleaf has designed and conducted thousands of market research studies for hundreds of clients in a broad range of industries and disciplines.

A focus on the qualitative conversation

For the past 10 years, Greenleaf Associates has especially honed and greatly expanded its services in qualitative research, including:

  • in-facility focus groups, interviews, etc., as well as
  • in situ ethnographic study among both consumers and business to business,
  • phone and conference research
  • hybrid in-person and digital platform methodologies, including the new Onsite Insights, launched in 2013
